Learning baby body language is always a challenge! Here’s a “cheat sheet” on behaviors that can clue you in that your baby is hungry.
- Sucking movements
- Putting fingers near mouth
- Turning head from side-to-side
- Opening mouth
- Sucking on clothing
- Sticking out tongue
- Rooting towards anyone when held in nursing position
- Being fussy or frantic
- Puckering lips
